Phantasy Star Online 2's large update is only 1 month off. Here is what material players can look forward to when Episode 4 releases. In true arcade mode, the key characters are mostly of high schoolers with this special affinity, and strange events start to happen around them. On the PSO2 facet, you are going to meet some new characters and find old ones return, although most don't have a significant role. A lot of the plot takes place on Earth and involves finding the agenda of a high-tech business, which eventually culminates in a lore connection to PSO2's entire world. It is largely a one-off Episode, but the connection to Earth stays forever open on earth of PSO2. Since players will be traveling to Earth, there are fresh Earth-related locales and enemies. One has already been released in the form of this Urgent Quest, Virtual Earth Fight Coaching. The other new principal place is the streets of Toyko, though it is not clear whether Sega plans to alter this to the North American audience. There are also other locations for the narrative and new Urgent Quests, such as the Moon.
Since they don't exist in this universe, enemies on Earth are not Dark Falz. Instead, you will see enemies called Phantoms, which come in many distinct types from Clowns to buy PSO2 Meseta Steamrollers. They are mainly weak to the end element, such as directors, but there are exceptions. The bosses are either powerful humans or Kaiju variations of Earth objects like a three-headed subway train, so expect to see some craziness.
