we’re here! As you start the experience, watching that good ole zombie consume the dude around the beach the very first time (ah, being young again), you’ll notice the one thing right off the bat. There’s no such thing as being a gold piece. No Gil, no penny, no credits. POE Currency also comes in the form of orbs, and so they all want to do something. This is one of several truly innovative things PoE did and a section on why the endgame can be so robust and fascinating. More than another action RPG, its crafting strategy is intrinsically related to the in-game economy. With a transmutation you can create a regular item magical, adding an affix or two. With a fusing, you can try to link its sockets. Each of these orbs is valuable in a way and worth obtaining.

How valuable, you could possibly ask? Head to Poe. ninja to discover. Because the economy is player-driven and there’s no in-game auction house, the value of things fluctuates quickly. This site gives you a pretty good understanding of the basics, though. The main thing to recollect is that the chaos orb will be the closest thing to your standard currency PoE.

Items will also be useful to sell to a variety of vendors you’ll find in the sport. Run out of scrolls of wisdom? Sell some transmutations. Need a chrome? Sell a specific thing with a socket of the color. There are tons of vendor recipes that could get you great early items, so take time to become acquainted with them.

Other things which are valuable are gear pieces with life, resistances, move speed, and whatever type of damage your build is utilizing. Try and maintain life, resistance, and damage high and you’ll cruise with the first five acts. One thing to look out for is Trials of Ascendancy, which may unlock your class’s three specializations (unless you’re playing a Scion, but that’s an entire another kettle of fish). Complete the trials because you go through the sport, and when you finally finish act 4 visit the aspirant’s plaza. By completing the labyrinth you unlock your Ascendancy, and that is usually a huge power spike. You’ll try this again around levels 55, 68, and 75.

Shopping! And acts six through 10 After you defeat Kitava and visit act 6, you’ll observe that your resistances have a big hit. Unless you’ve been very lucky, it’s likely that a few of your products are, well, hot garbage. Now’s fun to learn to invest in other players.

Head to Path of Exile trade to begin with. Here search for things to try and shore increase resistance and transform your damage for your push-through to maps. Try and get an elemental resists all-around capped (75), and since much chaos res since you can manage. Hopefully, you found several alchemy orbs as well as perhaps chaos or two to defend you here, in case you didn’t, don’t panic. People are often ready to negotiate prices on items, especially if you’re only starting. Use this as a possible opportunity to generate a new friend!

Now that you’ve got your gear sorted, you may cruise from the last five acts. You’ll unlock Pantheons while you defeat various bosses—check your league starter help guide to see those you should use. There’s some flexibility here if you decide to find yourself feeling like you'll find others who can be more useful, twenty-four hours a day experiment. I more often than not use Brine King in the first place, as getting chain-stunned is actually a good way to obtain yourself killed in the beginning.

The Atlas of Worlds You’ll be traveling to the concept of maps in act 7, but won’t investigate further fully unless you defeat Kitava again at the conclusion of act 10. Maps are items, able to be crafted, that generate a game title level after you put them in a guide device. They come in 16 tiers and contain their procedurally generated gullets the gap and breadth of the PoE offers. You’ll likely spend much of your time here, consider getting cozy.

If you end up short on currency, go to the Blood Aqueducts. This humble zone is linear, with monsters that don’t pose much of a threat, and will be the perfect destination for a farm-up if you discover yourself to be lacking some punch. The Humility card drops here, which may be turned in to get a Tabula Rasa, an immensely useful starting item that's no stats, but always is sold with six linked sockets. In addition, for products that drop here, I will discuss the right live for that chaos recipe—sell a hard-to-find item of each and every slot to some vendor, and you receive chaos. If they’re unidentified, you receive two. An hour or two farming here should supply you with plenty of chaos orbs to go to the trade site and get the resistances sorted and possibly purchase yours.
