World of Warcraft wotlk classic : Classic's auction houses will go off for five days to prepare for the release of the Burning Crusade expansion pre-patch on May 18.
According to Blizzard on the Official forums, the auction houses on every WoW Classic servers are scheduled to shut down at 10 AM 1 PM PT/ 12:01 AM ET on May 14 and won't return on the market until the release in the Burning Crusade pre-patch following server maintenance on May 18. The change is intended to assist in getting the servers that are already in place to receive their Burning Crusade upgrade, as also to set up new Classic Era servers which won't be receiving the pre-patch.
