Los 40 Principales is a Spanish music television and radio station. The station airs popular pop and rock music from English and Spanish. Its first broadcast was on Radio Madrid on 18 July 1966. However, in 1979, the station grew into its own stand-alone radio station.
The LOS40 network is the largest musical radio network in the world. The network includes stations in several countries, mainly Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, and Panama. Although primarily focused on Latin Top 40, the network also broadcasts Pan-European and House music.

Besides music, the station offers concerts and other social events. In recent years, the station has seen a decrease in audience, although it recovered in previous EGMs. Currently, the Los 40 website is updated with new shows for the upcoming season. Moreover, tickets for Los 40 concerts are donated to local solidarity groups.
Anda Ya, a morning show hosted by Maria Lama and Pedro Aznar, is a good example. Other notable shows include the Mar de Noches, a bilingual talk show with Eixchelt Conzalez and Natalia Vera. This show features a number of interviews, including a tupper sex session.
One of the most impressive feats of '40 Principales' is the fact that 2.200 songs have been ranked as the number one song in Spain. There were a few of them, such as Delilah, Un Rayo del Sol, and Mary J. Blige and U2.
