Rare Loot
The definitive goal of Dark and Darker would be to simply start the Dungeon Run and obtain as much loot as possible. Then you have to securely get out before you decide to lose the loot or even more specifically, you die within the run.
Then, you'll have to sell that loot to the Merchants and get ready for the harder Dungeon Run. That’s concerning the whole outer idea of the game here. But, one thing to note is the fact that when you are looking, you will find various Loots, having different rarities, usefulness, and value.

It might let you down but Dark and Darker don’t have use hanging around, none that we understand of. The February Playtest for Dark and Darker hasn’t showcased any use for that Ancient Scrolls but we're sure the April Playtest will bring a lot of new mechanics for that Ancient Scrolls.
It will require up to around 6 inventory slots out of your character, meaning there will be something heavy here. So, it is best to stick by using it till the developers unveil a new update.
No Use! Should you get it?
Just like we discussed earlier in our Dark and Darker Ancient Scrolls Guide that there are more Rare Items hanging around as well. Ancient Scroll might be among those, but there isn’t any worth for it hanging around as of now.
That means No, you shouldn’t get it and neither sell it to the vendor. You can go for the other Rare Items that are worth something hanging around. The six slots it's using will also be worthless.
When you sell it to the Vendor, you'll be getting only 3 Gold Coins, which also is quite low for Rare Items. So, it means Ancient Scroll is meaningless to choose or sell hanging around.
