What happens when you delete your Cash App account?
Deleting a Cash App account is more than just uninstalling the app from your phone. It involves the deletion of your personal information including your card and bank account details. In addition to that, users have to meet the conditions applicable for Cash App account deletion.
To delete the Cash App account, you first need to log in to your account and click on the "Delete My Account" link. This will take you to a page where you can confirm the deletion. After confirming the deletion, your account will be deleted. However, please be aware that not all of your information will be deleted. For example, your card details will be removed, but your bank account details will not.
In addition to deleting your account, you will also need to meet the following conditions:
- You must have had your Cash App account for at least six months.
- You must have had at least one active payment using your Cash App account.
- You must not have any outstanding debt owed to Cash App.
