US Senate is poised to approve legislation banning TikTok next week.
Legislation compelling TikTok's Chinese parent company ByteDance to sell off its ownership stake was placed on a fast track to become law by the US House on Saturday. President Joe Biden has stated he will sign the legislation, which is now anticipated to pass the Senate next week.
