Taking a break from VibeTag? We understand. Whether you're stepping away temporarily or ready to say goodbye for good, this guide walks you through the deactivation and deletion process for your VibeTag account.
If you're facing an issue such as missing posts, incorrect follower/following counts, suspicious messages, or potential account compromise, deactivating or deleting your account will not resolve it. Please contact VibeTag Support or check our Help Center for troubleshooting steps.
Once you have processed your account to be deleted, it is permanently deleted.
All posts, messages, media, and user data are erased.
There is no recovery once this process is complete.
Your username becomes available for use by others.
There are two ways to request permanent deletion:
Log into your account.
Go to Settings > Delete Account.
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion.
Visit vibetag.com/contact-us.
Fill out the form with your account details and specify that you wish to delete your account.
Once we receive your request through either method, a VibeTag support team member will confirm and process the deletion within 48 hours.
Once your account is deleted, it is 100% removed permanently. No personal data is retained. This includes your profile, messages, media, posts, and other associated content.
We do not store deleted account data for future use or recovery.
If your account is suspended or blocked, you will not be able to delete it directly. However, you can:
Submit a review request using this contact form.
Provide accurate details to verify ownership.
Our team will investigate and respond with options based on your case.
Keep these important points in mind:
Search engine data: Deleting your account won't remove your information from search engines like Google or Bing. You’ll need to request removal from those services directly.
Mentions in other posts: Your username may still appear in posts from other users, but the link will no longer work.
Data download: If you want to download your VibeTag data, do it before deactivation.
Third-party logins: Apps connected to your account may cause auto-reactivation. Revoke access to avoid this.
Email and password access: You must have access to your verified email or phone number to manage deletion or request support.
