Every report helps us maintain a trusted environment and allows us to take swift and appropriate action when needed.
You can report inappropriate posts, comments, messages, or profiles directly in the app using our built-in reporting features.
All reports are anonymous, except for intellectual property cases where legal frameworks may require disclosure.
The person you report will never know it was you.
You may report content or behavior that involves:
Spam or misleading activity
Harassment, bullying, or abusive behavior
Hate speech or discrimination
Nudity, sexual content, or exploitation
Violence or dangerous organizations
Illegal or restricted goods
Intellectual property violations
Threats of suicide or self-harm
Scams or attempts to obtain money or personal information
Our moderation team reviews every report with care and consistency.
Posts can be reported for:
Spam
Nudity or sexual activity
Hate speech or hate symbols
Violence or dangerous organizations
Bullying or harassment
Selling illegal or restricted goods
Copyright or intellectual property violations
Suicide or self-injury concerns
If you see a harmful or inappropriate comment:
Tap the post containing the comment.
Tap the info/report icon next to the comment.
Select Report.
Choose the reason for your report.
You will receive confirmation that your report has been submitted.
You may also delete comments left on your own posts.
To report a user profile that violates our guidelines:
Go to the person’s profile.
Tap the three dots on the top right.
Select Report Profile.
Choose your report category.
You will receive a confirmation notification.
Our Support Safety Team will review the profile immediately.
To report a specific post:
Tap the options menu on the post.
Select Report Post.
Choose your report category.
Submit your report.
You will receive a confirmation once the report is received.
If someone sends offensive, threatening, or suspicious messages:
Open the chat window and tap the options menu.
Select Report, or tap and hold an individual message to report it.
Choose the relevant report type.
Submit your report and you’ll receive confirmation.
You can also block the user to prevent further communication.
Scams on VibeTag happen when individuals create fake accounts or compromise existing ones to trick users into sending money or sharing personal information.
Stay alert and protect yourself by recognizing early warning signs.
Be cautious if you notice:
Requests for money from people you don’t know
Offers requiring payment to receive prizes, loans, or winnings
Fake job opportunities that require application fees
Messages from accounts impersonating companies, celebrities, or support teams
Anyone claiming to be from “VibeTag Security” asking for passwords or verification details
Users urging you to move the conversation to email or a private platform
Messages claiming a friend or relative is in sudden emergency
Suspicious links
Poor spelling or unusual grammar
Unrealistic discounts or “too good to be true” offers
Requests to “claim a prize”
Sellers offering items at extremely low prices
Accounts with almost no history or activity
If you suspect a scam, do not respond. Report the account to VibeTag immediately.
Scammers build emotional connections, pretend to be in crisis, and eventually request money.
Impersonators claim you’ve won money and ask for personal details or “release fees.”
Promises of instant loans for a small fee are common traps.
Fraudulent schemes offering huge profits, “cash flips,” or unrealistic returns.
Fake job postings requesting fees or sensitive information.
Scammers misuse stolen details or lure buyers with huge discounts.
Fraudulent offers for lifetime access or unrealistic membership deals.
Messages designed to steal your VibeTag login information.
Misleading profiles offering underpriced goods with unsafe payment methods.
Sharing or requesting nude or sexual material is strictly prohibited on VibeTag.
If someone pressures you, the safest response is:
“No — it is not allowed on VibeTag.”
Sharing intimate content can have harmful emotional and legal consequences.
If you feel uncomfortable or threatened:
Refuse firmly
Block the person
Report the account
Avoid sharing any content or personal information
Speak to someone you trust
Contact local authorities if threats continue
If you are under 18, sharing or requesting sexual images of minors is illegal in most countries.
If someone is blackmailing you, extorting you, or threatening to share private content:
Contact local law enforcement
Report the user immediately
Block the person
Avoid giving money or sending additional content
Reach out to a trusted friend, adult, or support service
Do not engage further. Your safety is the priority.
We encourage minors to speak to a trusted adult, parent, teacher, or counselor when dealing with online threats or harassment.
Support resources, crisis hotlines, and legal assistance organizations are also available to help you navigate these situations safely.
If a user tries to sell something outside VibeTag Shop:
Ignore the message
Report the behavior if it violates guidelines
