UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak departed the D-Day monument early, angering the public.
The prime minister has emphasized that the debate about his early departure from yesterday's D-Day commemorations must remain non-political. After some contemplation, Rishi Sunak said, "I apologize; that was a mistake." Given the gravity of the sacrifice made, it is critical, however, that we avoid politicizing this.
