Your life will not be ruined by ignorance alone; it is more often ruined by self-admiration. When a person begins to marvel at his intellect, credentials, eloquence, or exposure, he quietly transfers trust from God to himself—and that is the beginning of loss.

Excellent knowledge, refined skills, and vast experience are never guarantees of guidance. They are tools, not anchors. Without the mercy of God, knowledge becomes arrogance, intelligence becomes argument, and wisdom becomes pride disguised as insight.

Many have memorized texts yet failed to submit their hearts. Many speak beautifully yet stand empty before God. The tragedy is not lack of knowledge, but reliance on it.

Your knowledge cannot guide you unless God allows it.
Your understanding cannot protect you unless God preserves you.
Your success cannot last unless God sustains it.

When God withdraws His mercy:

the learned become confused,
the confident become reckless,
the admired become abandoned.

Self-conceit blinds a person from correction. It makes advice sound like insult and truth feel like opposition. The moment you stop learning from others, God stops teaching you. The moment you feel superior, you become spiritually inferior.

True knowledge produces humility, not loudness.
True understanding births fear of God, not pride.
True success is to recognize your absolute dependence on God at every stage of life.

Do not say: “I know.”
Say: “God has allowed me to know.”

Do not trust your intellect.
Trust the One who grants clarity to the intellect.

For many were destroyed while being knowledgeable,
and many were saved while being humble.

Your life is not sustained by your brilliance. It is sustained by God’s mercy.

The day you understand this, knowledge becomes light.
The day you forget this, knowledge becomes a burden.

yet not a single day has erased the warmth she left behind.
Her memory still sits gently in my heart—
like a lamp Allah Himself lit, and time cannot put out.

Sometimes the ache feels fresh,
but Allah comforts me with:
“And the Hereafter is better for you than the first.” (Qur’an 93:4)
So I trust that what she has now
is far better than what this world ever offered her.

Sixteen years without her voice,
yet her dua still shields me,
her teachings still guide me,
and her love still shapes the rhythm of my life.

O Allah, forgive her,
have mercy on her,
expand her grave and fill it with light,
and raise her among those You love.
Let every good I do be a continuous charity for her.
Reunite us in Jannatul Firdaus
where separation no longer exists.
