Ghana's legislature approves a bill to intensify the suppression of LGBTQ+ rights.
On Wednesday, February 28, the Ghanaian parliament approved a contentious bill that would significantly curtail LGBTQ rights in the nation. This comes only one week after the parliament rejected a proposal to soften some of the bill's provisions, which included non-custodial sentences like counseling for gay sex instead of jail time.

There was a three-day grounding of a national airline aircraft in Sri Lanka. The airline set the disastrous delays and subsequent grounding on Tuesday, blaming it on a rodent.
