The CPN Maoist, led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Nepal, has broken away from the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led Nepali Congress and allied themselves with the CPN-UML, led by KP Sharma Oli. The three septuagenarians have dominated Nepal's political scene and pulled strings for years. This is in a nation where youth (under 4 make up more than 40% of the population. Real problems like young employment and welfare are pushed aside by the political upheaval.
