Israel bombs a mosque in northern Gaza, leaving one killed and eleven injured.
In the al-Fakhoura neighborhood of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, an Israeli bombing destroyed a mosque and damaged nearby homes. Rescuers are now retrieving survivors and remains from the debris. Israeli airplanes had struck the mosque, according to a civil defense worker on the scene, and many women and children were among the injured.

Since Israel began its bombardment on Gaza, 5,000 wounded Palestinians have been transferred for medical care overseas. Among them are young children who were brought to Qatar with severe amputations and crippling trauma wounds. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 10,000 additional patients are on waiting lists for evacuation from the Strip.
