Arabic's Ismail al-Ghoul said, "Buildings in all departments have been burned, and the structure of the complex has been damaged from the inside." He also said that the facility's walls, doors, and stairs have all been "destroyed." Al-Ghoul stated, "Based on our observations, it seems the occupation forces targeted the health sector on purpose and destroyed the largest medical complex in Gaza City." He said that since the hospital was also acting as a shelter for those in need, people are attempting to rescue what they can from the rubble. "Life does not exist here."
