In the al-Fakhoura neighborhood of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, an Israeli bombing destroyed a mosque and damaged nearby homes. Rescuers are now retrieving survivors and remains from the debris. Israeli airplanes had struck the mosque, according to a civil defense worker on the scene, and many women and children were among the injured.

Nationwide, the protests were publicized in over 100 locations. Thousands of protesters protested outside the parliament in Berlin. The fury stems from rumors that far-right extremists and Alternative for Germany party members met to discuss plans for the mass expulsion of immigrants and people of foreign ancestry.
