During Ramadan, Palestinians in Jerusalem fear violence from Israel.
The Al-Aqsa mosque compound's entrance has been blocked by Israeli soldiers in occupied East Jerusalem. A few believers said prayers outdoors. Israeli troops at the gate entrance beat other people who were attempting to enter the facility. The third-holiest place on the Muslim calendar is the Al-Aqsa compound. Israeli officials have restricted the amount of persons who can enter since October 7. Many Palestinians living in Israeli-occupied East Jerusalem worry that more Israeli restrictions will exacerbate the conflict.
