As the globe commemorates Press Freedom Day, we look to Gaza and the growing number of journalist deaths since October 7th. More than 100 journalists have been slain in the last seven months as Israel conducts its brutal bombardment in Gaza. So, how are journalists in Gaza continue to report? And are Western journalists doing enough to highlight the situation of their Palestinian colleagues?

UK: The public uproar over PM Rishi Sunak's D-Day error is causing more problems.
He said the issue surrounding the prime minister's early departure from yesterday's D-Day ceremonies must stay out of politics. Rishi Sunak paused to reflect before saying, "I apologize; that was a mistake." But given the significance of the sacrifice made, it's imperative that we refrain from making this a political issue. It is only fitting that we honor the warriors for their tremendous sacrifices.
