US: The FDA is looking into the possibility of bird flu in the milk supply chain after finding evidence of the disease in 1 in 5 milk samples.
The Food and Drug Administration in the US discovered avian flu virus pieces in pasteurized milk samples. Although the FDA continues to insist that the milk is safe to consume, it is awaiting the findings of an inquiry to make this claim. Keep an eye out for additional information!
