Hamas armed branch claims to have conducted a 'big missile' strike on Tel Aviv.
Sirens erupted in Tel Aviv as missiles were launched from Rafah in southern Gaza. Hamas claimed credit for the barrage. The Israeli army said that eight rockets were fired toward central Israel, with several intercepted by the air defense system. Rocket sirens were also heard in cities like Herzliya and Petah Tikva. The Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military branch, said the rocket bombardment was in reaction to "Zionist massacres against civilians."
