Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, is in Paris for an official state visit where he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron. It is believed that the two would talk about Israel's current conflict in Gaza. Held in the French capital, the discussions come after Israel, the US, Qatar, and Egypt proposed a truce and prisoner swap some days earlier.
Taiwan 7.2 earthquake: 25 years' biggest earthquake to strike Taipei
The largest earthquake to strike Taiwan in 25 years has struck. Buildings collapsed as a result of the magnitude 7.2 earthquake, killing four people. The Philippines and Japan promptly revoked their tsunami warnings.
