The Israeli military is moving its soldiers farther into the center and western areas of Rafah. After throwing the city into complete darkness overnight, Israeli forces took more of the border territory with Egypt known as the Philadelphi Corridor. This follows Israeli attacks on numerous sections of Rafah overnight and early Wednesday. Almost all of the hospitals are out of operation.

Six individuals are under search and rescue after the collapse of the Baltimore bridge.
The cargo ship lost power and collided with a bridge, causing it to collapse. As a result, the US Coast Guard has announced that it is ceasing its search and rescue operations in Baltimore. The six persons who are still missing are the focus of a recovery operation, according to State Police, which has taken over the rescue operations.
