Myanmar's civil war has displaced 2.5 million inhabitants.
Tens of thousands of people have fled to Thailand after weeks of fighting near the Thai border town of Myawaddy in Myanmar. However, many more people are still stuck within the country. The UN believes that conflict has displaced 2.5 million people since the military took control in a coup in 2021. In the second installment of his series of special reports from Myanmar, Tony Cheng experienced the horrific conditions in which many of those people live.
This 34-year-old is Analía Rizzo. While she and her partner were at her residence, she started feeling ill. Actor Raúl Rizzo's eldest daughter, Anahí Rizzo, was discovered dead in her Constitución area of Buenos Aires apartment this Thursday. The 34-year-old woman went into cardiac arrest when she was with her spouse and started having respiratory problems.

The Houthis, who targeted cargo ships in the Red Sea with Iran's help, have military bases in Yemen. On the evening of January 12, US and British aircraft and warships assaulted these installations. The US Air Force said that almost 60 strikes were made on 16 targets in all.

Early on Friday, the United States and the United Kingdom struck the Houthis in Yemen as a show of support for the Palestinians in Gaza, following weeks of strikes by these rebels against Red Sea marine trade.
