Patricia Matthey, whose family used Johnson's baby powder every day from 1965 until August 2016, when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, filed the complaint. Erik Haas, global vice president of litigation for Johnson & Johnson, stated that the verdict vindicated the corporation.
