In the last seven days, there have been three significant assaults against Chinese interests in the South Asian nation. Beijing is investing billions of dollars in infrastructure projects in the southwest province of Balochistan, where the first two attacks targeted a significant port and a Pakistani naval air base. The question of whether China will insist on sending its troops to Pakistan to defend its assets is the critical one.

The four freshly discovered colonies most likely existed for many years, although scientists hadn't previously noticed them, according to a British Antarctic Survey statement on Wednesday.

Held in the French capital, the discussions come after Israel, the US, Qatar, and Egypt proposed a truce and prisoner swap some days earlier.
