Thousands of people are demonstrating against the so-called "foreign influence" law in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. Organizations that receive foreign funding will be required by law to register as "foreign agents." Some who oppose it claim that it might be used to suppress oppositional groups and harm Georgia's hopes of enlisting in the EU. Former Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Thornike Gordadze was responsible for the country's relations with the EU. He claims former prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili is coordinating the government's action.

If a bill signed by Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Monday passes and withstands anticipated legal challenges, Florida would have one of the nation's strictest social media bans for minors.
