An Israeli attack on the Nuiserat refugee camp resulted in the release of four Israeli prisoners and the death of at least 274 Palestinians. Josep Borrell, the senior ambassador for the European Union, denounced the assaults on Saturday and demanded an immediate stop to what he refers to as a "bloodbath." Hours of airstrikes, bombardment, and fierce gunfights between Israeli special forces and Hamas were inflicted upon the Palestinian people. According to Hamas, three other prisoners—including a US citizen—were also slain during the operation.
Pakistani parties reach a consensus to establish a coalition administration.
A coalition has been formed by two significant political parties in Pakistan that are opponents of the imprisoned former prime minister, Imran Khan, and they believe they are prepared to form a government following elections marred by accusations of vote-rigging.
