Alon raised concern over recent developments, such as Egypt's apparent backing for a genocide lawsuit against Israel, warning that it could have serious diplomatic ramifications for Israel's Middle Eastern relations.

According to a physician in Northern Gaza, hardly half of the infants who arrive at his hospital receive the help they need. Many of the babies at Kamal Adwan Hospital are malnourished as a result of the majority of the problems being caused by a lack of nourishment. He claims there is nothing more he can do if help does not arrive immediately.
