‘There is no life here’: The aftermath of al-Shifa Hospital siege
Arabic's Ismail al-Ghoul said, "Buildings in all departments have been burned, and the structure of the complex has been damaged from the inside." He also said that the facility's walls, doors, and stairs have all been "destroyed." Al-Ghoul stated, "Based on our observations, it seems the occupation forces targeted the health sector on purpose and destroyed the largest medical complex in Gaza City." He said that since the hospital was also acting as a shelter for those in need, people are attempting to rescue what they can from the rubble. "Life does not exist here." The complex can never be rebuilt; it is in ruins.
On Thursday, the first consecutive atmospheric river storms dumped abundant rain on southern California, causing sporadic flooding and stranding cars on highly flooded roadways. Videos from the state showed vehicles traveling through floodwater. The other cars were partially underwater at this point.

They are here, but they have relatives in the north, some of whom gathered at the Nabulsi Roundabout to receive aid from the arriving trucks. This scene is really challenging at the moment. For the past few weeks, they have been attempting to contact their family and relatives to ensure that they are still alive, that they’re not going to be affected by the spread of famine, and yesterday happened, and they heard about them being killed.
