China and Russia intend to build a combined nuclear power plant on the moon.
Russia and China have discussed plans to supply and install a joint nuclear power plant on a robot-built lunar settlement. The head of Roscosmos, the Russian space agency, revealed on Tuesday that the two countries are considering building a nuclear power plant on the moon between 2033 and 2035.

Protests in Colombia: Paying tribute to armed group victims
Bogota mourners honor the victims of violence following peace agreements. President Petro speaks with armed groups; policy enforcement is inadequate. Decades of civil conflict in Colombia were supposed to come to an end with the historic peace agreement with the FARC, but since 2016, over 400 former rebel fighters and 1,100 community leaders have been killed in violence that has returned to areas the government has been unable to control. The most impacted groups are indigenous people and Afro-Columbians. Even with laws and rules in existence, there has been little enforcement and a lot of impunity. President Gustavo Petro started consultations with the surviving armed factions, but no progress has been made. Redistributing wealth and stopping the illicit enterprise are essential but challenging steps toward peace.
Russia tries to obstruct US military supplies to Ukraine in the conflict between the two countries.
Although Ukraine is excitedly awaiting the much-delayed military aid from the US, Moscow is threatening to disrupt its military supplies in advance of a planned new Russian offensive. The country's healthcare system is on the verge of collapse due to the fighting between the army of Sudan and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. According to the UN, seventy percent of its hospitals are closed. Additionally, non-medical volunteers are filling in for doctors at one health center in the capital.
