Senegalese protests: Angry over the postponing of elections
In Dakar, the country's capital, demonstrators against the postponement of presidential elections in Senegal are engaged in combat with police. Due later this month, the election was rescheduled for December. President Macky Sall is being accused by the opposition of attempting to continue in office after his two terms are up. According to the minister of justice, parliament, not the president, made the decision to postpone, which is unlawful.

They provide the president, not the parliament, the authority to name and remove the prime minister. An indirect clan-based electoral system is in place in Somalia. Puntland politicians are upset over the decision and have declared they would no longer recognize the federal administration. Regional authorities were upset that they had not been consulted on the modifications, according to Matt Bryden of Sahan Research.

Iran's supply of uranium enriched to almost weapons grade has reportedly decreased, which lowers the bar at which Iran may make three nuclear bombs, according to a report by the United Nations Nuclear Watchdog.
